What is AO Spine?
AO Spine is the leading international community specializing in spine care education and research , inspiring lifelong learning thereby improving the quality of life for patients. It is also the leading provider of spinal surgery knowledge around the world.
Currently, the AO Spine community has more than 30,000 members involving surgeons, researchers and professionals related to the spine. With the passage of time and the great advances in techniques, the community has expanded in order to promote and support the individual needs of spine surgeons.

The course in which Prof. Dr. Elgeadi participates is focused on spinal surgical techniques on fresh human anatomical specimens and is aimed at certified spinal surgeons with 5 to 10 years of experience as well as more experienced surgeons in classical techniques. open surgery and who want to start in new technologies.
The first of the blocks of the course is oriented towards the most common thoracolumbar approaches in minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS), including surgical treatments such as PLIF, ALIF or TLIF.
